As a smart traveller, you should be ready with your pocket money, as well as credit and debit cards. Going on a trip means spending money, for the most part. While you can go on a budget-friendly vacation, you will still need to expend some amount to support your trip.

Ideally, you should make a monetary costing or budgeting for the trip, while providing for some extras. Whenever possible, stick to your budget, especially if your resources are limited. Find ways to save like staying in a modest apartment instead of a hotel suite. If you should shop, do not be afraid to go for bargains. Lots of economical yet elegant items can be bought if you know how to negotiate, specifically at stalls in shopping districts. January and July are ideal to go shopping in London because that is when discount sales are held.
